James Burton Reynolds (1870 – February 8, 1948) was Assistant Secretary of the Treasury, where he was accused of taking bribes from the Sugar Trust.[1][2]

Biography

He was born in Saratoga, New York. He married Irene H. Holeombe (c.1880-1943)[3] In 1913 he was Secretary of the Republican National Committee.[4] In 1920 he was the campaign manager for Calvin Coolidge.[5] He died in February 1948.[6][7]
