James Donaldson is an English rugby league player who currently plays for Hull Kingston Rovers.

Early years

James Donaldson was born in Whitehaven. He attended Whitehaven School. He played a key role in the Rugby League European under-16 championship 2007, where Whitehaven School represented England. Donaldson was much sought after as a junior and signed for Bradford despite offers from many other top clubs.[citation needed] A loose forward, Donaldson hails from Cumbria and played for the famous Wath Brow Hornets amateur side.[citation needed]
