Jamil Ahmed Khan has been an international civil servant and a diplomat. He served as Ambassador of Pakistan to the United Arab Emirates from November 2010 - June 2013 . During his tenure as envoy to Libya and UAE, his diplomatic achievements earned accolades from the highest offices of the Government of Pakistan for bringing a positive impact to the country. The President of Pakistan graced him with the Medal for outstanding performance (Sitara-e-Imtiaz). He has held several illustrious positions at the United Nations as country Head in East Timor, Yemen/Oman, Somalia/Kenya, and Botswana. Mr Jamil Ahmed Khan is skilled at managing high-level relations with top government authorities as a diplomat and peacekeeper. He has also been among the board of Directors for Pakistan Telecommunication Corporation Limited and Pak-Libya Holding Company besides chairing the Board of Governors of Pakistani colleges and schools in Libya and UAE. Besides being a Guest speaker at New Westminster College, Canada and visiting faculty at Karachi University, he is routinely invited by various organizations to deliver talks on international and current affairs.
