Jan Steeman (born 23 May 1933 in Schagen) is a Dutch comics artist, best known for his association football comic Roel Dijkstra [1] and Noortje,[2] a comic strip about a bumbling teenage girl published in Tina. The latter ran for more than 41 years without interruption, making it the longest-running Dutch comic strip by one and the same artist.[3] His scriptwriter for Noortje was Patty Klein.[4] Steeman is the winner of the 2005 Stripschapprijs.[5]
