Nagatsuki (長月) was a first-class destroyer of the Imperial Japanese Navy, and one of twelve Mutsuki class destroyers. During the Pacific War, Nagatsuki supported Japanese military operations in the New Guinea and Solomon Islands Campaigns. After being damaged on July 5, 1943 during the Battle of Kula Gulf, the ship ran aground on Kolombangara near Bambari Harbor. The next day Nagatsuki was bombed and destroyed by United States aircraft.
