Jaroslav Černý (1904–1984) was a Czech painter.[1] Jaroslav Cerny came from a poor working-class family. His extraordinary talent and artistic creativity became evident in primary school when he first exhibited his artwork. In his artistic development he was very involved with the František Kupka. His works generally revolved around the Czech countryside. He exhibited his paintings with great success in many exhibitions at home, in Europe, even South America. His works can be viewed at the City Gallery of Prague, the government and embassies and in private collections at home and abroad.
