Jason Island is an island 1 nautical mile (2 km) north of Larsen Point at the west side of the entrance to Cumberland Bay, off the north coast of South Georgia. It was named after the Jason, the vessel used by Captain C.A. Larsen in 1893–94 in exploring Cumberland Bay.[1]
