Javier D. Ferrer Fernández[a] (born December 29, 1961) is an attorney and financial advisor who is expected to serve as President and member of the board of the Puerto Rico Government Development Bank for the governance of Alejandro García Padilla. Ferrer is an attorney and founding partner at Pietrantoni Méndez & Álvarez LLC specialized in commercial law, corporate law, corporate finance law, public finance law, commercial lending, and mergers and acquisitions. He has also served as an advisor to financial institutions. Mr. Ferrer has been distinguished by Chambers as one of the world's best corporate lawyers.[1][2][3][4][5][6]
