Jennifer Smith (born 13 July 1945) is a Portuguese soprano singer.

Born in Lisbon, Jennifer Smith graduated from the Lisbon Conservatory of Music and came to London on a Gulbenkian scholarship. Her varied recording career includes opera and recital, from baroque to modern. Her ability to sing in European-Portuguese and Brazilian Portuguese makes her a specialist in the music of those countries (composers such as João de Sousa Carvalho, Francisco Antonio de Almeida, Carlos de Seixas and Antonio Teixeira). She appeared in Tony Palmer's television film on Henry Purcell in 1995. She was professor of vocal studies at the Royal College of Music. Because of her name and her residence in London, she is sometimes classified as an English singer.
