Jim Burke, Jr. is an American film producer.[1][2]

Burke, who is a graduate of the University of Minnesota, was a founding member of Rysher Entertainment. He currently serves as the President of Ad Hominem Enterprises, a production company he shares with Alexander Payne and Jim Taylor. The company has a first look deal with Fox Searchlight Pictures. Burke produced the 2011 film The Descendants, Cedar Rapids, and served as an Executive Producer on Tamara Jenkins' The Savages in 2007.

On January 24, 2012, he was nominated for an Academy Award for the movie The Descendants.[3]
