James "Jimmy" McGeachan (born 1871 – unknown) was a Scottish footballer who played in the Football League for Stoke.[1]

Career

McGeachan was born in Govan and began his career with Hibernian before moving south to Bolton Wanderers in 1894.[1] After two years with the Lancashire club he moved on to Stoke City.[1] He struggled to get in to the side ahead of Alf Wood and after four appearances left for a short return to Hibs.[1] He then had an unsuccessful second spell with Bolton.[1]
