Sharof Rashidov District (until 2016: Jizzakh District) is a district of Jizzakh Region in Uzbekistan. The capital lies at the town Uchtepa.[1] It has an area of 1,320 km2 (510 sq mi)[2] and its population is 223,100 (2020 est.).[3] It is named after Sharof Rashidov, a leader of Soviet Uzbekistan.
The district consists of 7 urban-type settlements (Uchtepa, Gandumtosh, Qorayantoq, Qangʻli, Toqchiliq, Mulkanlik, Jizzaxlik) and 12 rural communities.[1]
