João Veloso da Silva Torres (born 24 April 1986, in Maia, Gueifães) is a Portuguese civil engineer and politician,[1] member of the Assembly of the Republic since 23 October 2015. He is both a member of the Socialist Party and the Socialist Youth, having been secretary-general of the latter from 2012 to 2016.[2]
