Joachim Adukor (born 2 May 1993)[1] is a Ghanaian footballer currently playing for FK Sarajevo.[2] He plays as a Central Midfielder, he previously played for Gefle IF in the Swedish top league and for Trofense in the Portugal Segunda Liga and AS Béziers (2007) in France
Club career
Adukor arrived at Gefle in July 2011[3] from Ghanaian side Emirates SC, but struggled to get much playing time in a side performing over-expectations in the 2011 Allsvenskan. After the winter break, Adukor returned for the 2012 Allsvenskan season as a member of the Gefle first-team squad and will play a larger role in their 2012 campaign.[4]
It has been reported that Adukor will replace compatriot Yussif Chibsah in the Gefle first-team for the start of the 2012 season.[5] He made his league debut for the club on 17 September 2012, coming on as a substitute in a 2-0 defeat to BK Hacken.[6] It is reported in Greece that PAOK is interested in Joachim Adukor and they are keeping a close eye on him http://sportsworldghana.com/ghanas-joachim-adukor-chased-paok-fc-greece-super-league/
International career
In October 2011, Adukor expressed his wish to link-up with the Ghana national under-20 football team ahead of the 2013 African Youth Championship.[7] In June 2012, he was selected to join the squad for the forthcoming qualification campaign.[8] In May 2015 he was again invited to join the U23 national team for the qualifier games for the All-Africa Games and the Olympic Games.
