Joachim Faber

Joachim Faber (born 10 May 1950 in Gießen) is a German lawyer and business executive. Educated at the University of Bonn, he earned his doctorate at the German University of Administrative Sciences in 1982. He has served as CEO of Allianz Global Investors from 2000 to 2012, and is chairman of the German Stock Exchange Group since May 2012.[1][2]

He is a non-executive director of HSBC since 1 March 2012.[3]
