Joe Valerio is a former NFL offensive lineman. He was born February 11, 1969 outside Philadelphia and attended Ridley High School in Folsom, PA.

After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania, where he majored in economics, he played for five years for the Kansas City Chiefs. He became notable for being inserted as a receiver at various times in short yardage situations, catching a total of four touchdown passes.

Valerio retired after the 1996 season and is currently employed as an insurance executive in suburban Philadelphia.[1]
