John Griffith (V) (1687–1739) was a Welsh politician. He was the Member of Parliament for Caernarvonshire, Wales from 1715, succeeding his brother William who had died as the sitting MP.[1]

John Griffith is numbered as the fifth of that name in the Griffith family of the Cefn Amwlch estate, Penllech, now in Gwynedd.[1]
