Arms of the Counts of Dreux

John III (1395 – 1331), Count of Dreux, was the second son of John II of Dreux and of Jeanne of Beaujeu.

Marriage and family

He married around 1329 Ide († 1375), daughter of Guy II, lord of Rosny, and of Laure of Ponthieu. This marriage was without posterity and his brother, Peter succeeded him. Ide married secondly Matthew III de Trie, lord of Araines and marshal of France, on 2 September 1363.[1]
