John P. Flaherty Jr. (born November 19, 1931)[1] was a Justice of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania from 1978 to 2001 and Chief Justice of the Court from 1996 to 2001. He retired at the end of 2001.Cite error: The <ref> tag has too many names (see the help page).

John P. Flaherty is married and has seven children, one of which is Devon Flaherty, a folk musician.
