John Schriffen

John Schriffen (born October 3, 1984) is a sports reporter for CBS Sports. Schriffen reports college sports as well as Army/Navy games. On weekends he participated on the That Other Pre Game Show on CBS.

Schriffen previously worked as one of the youngest ABC News correspondents in New York City. Schriffen previously interned for ABC’s sister network ESPN.

Before ABC News, Schriffen spent several years at WRC-TV in Washington D.C. He covered the White House, Capitol Hill, and contributed to special coverage on Hurricane Irene in 2011.

Schriffen began his career as a sports anchor and reporter for News 12 in New York City. He graduated from Dartmouth College, but also attended Howard University where he worked at The Hilltop student newspaper. Schriffen graduated from the Dwight School, and also attended Hunter College High School in his hometown of New York City.
