John Strachan (bishop of Rangoon)

John Miller Strachan[1] (1832–1906)[2] was the second[3] Bishop of Rangoon.[4]
He was born in Barnsley and educated at King's College London.[5] He was ordained in 1861 and was a SPG in India until his episcopal appointment. He was consecrated on 1 May 1882.[6] and served[7] until 1902 when he resigned his see.[8] He became a Doctor of Divinity (DD).[9]
