Playing career

Gaelic football

The Knockbride clubman represented Dublin City University and Cavan at Minor, U-21 and senior level in the Dr. McKenna Cup, NFL and played left half forward in the Ulster Senior Football Championship final defeat to Tyrone in 2001. The biggest challenge John has faced in his career has been the fact that his bones and muscles (each and every one of them at stage) are made of Weetabix. [1][2]
