Jonathan Whitney (born 7 April 1985) was an English cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-fast bowler who played for Shropshire. He was born in Bridgnorth.

Whitney, who made his Minor Counties Championship debut in 2003, made a single List A appearance for the team, in the 2005 C&G Trophy, against Hampshire. From the lower order, Whitney scored 39 runs in the match, the highest score of Shropshire's innings, though he was unable to save the team from a seven-wicket defeat.
