Jorma Vilho Paavali Kinnunen (born 15 December 1941 in Pihtipudas) is a former athlete from Finland who competed mainly in the javelin throw.

He competed for Finland in the 1968 Summer Olympics held in Mexico City, Mexico in the javelin throw where he won the silver medal.

June 18. 1969 Kinnunen threw a world record 92,70m in javelin at Tampere stadium, Finland.

Kinnunen is father of Kimmo Kinnunen, world champion of javelin throw. He also has a daughter, Sanna Kinnuen, and another son, Jarko Kinnunen.
