Joseph Barnes (born 14 November 1914) is an Irish physician who worked in leper colonies in West Africa in the 1940s. He co-founded ICROSS with Michael Elmore-Meegan. He was born in Belfast. He lectured in tropical medicine at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. He turned 100 in November 2014.[1]
