The Journal of Hospital Infection is a peer-reviewed medical journal published by Elsevier on behalf of the Hospital Infection Society.[1] The journal publishes articles describing original research on epidemiology, healthcare, and antimicrobial resistance.[2]

According to the 2016 Journal Citation Reports, the journal has a 2015 impact factor of 2.655.[3] The journal was established in 1966 and the editor-in-chief is J. Gray.[4]
