Juan José Potous (ca. 1845 - ca. 1920) was Mayor of Ponce, Puerto Rico, in 1895-1896.[2] He is best remembered for having led the construction of Ponce's Hospital Civil, an annex/enlargement to Hospital Tricoche. Ermelindo Salazar, Bartolo Mayol, and Francisco Maria Franceschi were the lead contributors to the new hospital wing.[3]
