Judith Ralston

Judith Ralston originally from Edinburgh, trained as a musician from an early age and subsequently went on to study singing at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, the Royal Northern College of Music. When her voice collapsed, her operatic singing career ended prematurely. In 1999 she returned to her native Scotland to begin a new career as a travel reporter at BBC Scotland. She expanded her broadcasting career into weather shortly afterwards, then into television news. Ralston has also presented many programmes/features in the classical music field, also other BBC radio/television programmes She is now one of the main weather presenters at BBC Scotland and is heavily involved with charity work in the Glasgow area. She lives in Glasgow with her husband Fraser Ralston and their 3 children.
