Juneydi Basha is the current President of the Ethiopian Football Federation and member of FIFA marketing and TV and CAF AFCON organizing standing committees. The Ethiopia Football Association elected him as its new president to replace Sahilu Gebrewold.

He beat three other candidates for the top football job in the East African nation, winning 55 out of the 101 votes at Thursday's General assembly.[1]

Basha is a businessman and former General Manager of Harar Beer and Vice President of Ethiopian Chamber of commerce and sectorial associations, represented the eastern region of Dire Dawa.[2]
