KFLT (830 AM) is a radio station broadcasting a religious/family oriented format. Licensed to Tucson, Arizona, USA, it serves the Tucson area. The station is currently owned by Family Life Broadcasting System, Inc..

History

KFLT as it is now began in 1977 when Family Life Broadcasting bought the 1450 AM frequency from the then owners of KOPO. In October of that year the station switched to the religious format it has now. It would stay there until around 1986.

Meanwhile, a construction permit was issued in 1983 for a new station on 830 AM to Doylan Forney. He first took the calls KGLY, then very soon after took the calls KGLR. In 1986 he sold the CP to Family Life Broadcasting who then sold the 1450 frequency to another owner who then put urban KKPW 'Power 1450' on the air. KFLT has been on 830 AM ever since.
