Carl Pfänder

Karl Pfander was born in 1818. He was an artist and a prominent figure in the German and international working class movement. He was a friend and associate of both Karl Marx and Frederick Engels. emigrated to London, England in 1845. He was a member of the German Workers Educational Society in London. He was a member of the Central Authority of the Communist League and was also a member of the General Council of the First International. Karl Pfander died in 1876.[1]
