Catherine Esther (Kate) Doust (born 27 May 1962) is an Australian politician. She has been a Labor member of the Western Australian Legislative Council since 2001, representing the region of South Metropolitan.[1]

Kate Doust was born in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia.[1] She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Australia.[1]

Kate Doust is the Shadow Minister for Industrial Relations; Commerce; Small Business; Trade; Electoral Affairs and is Deputy Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Council.
