Kazuma Watanabe (渡邉 千真, Watanabe Kazuma, born 10 August 1986[1]) is a Japanese footballer who plays for Gamba Osaka.
Career
He made his J-League debut against Sanfrecce Hiroshima on 7 March 2009 scoring his first league goal.[2] He kept scoring constantly up to 13 goals in the league this season, and broke the previous season goal record of a rookie player made by Shoji Jo in 1994. This earned him the young player of the year award 2009.
He made his full international debut for Japan on January 6, 2010 in a 2011 AFC Asian Cup qualifier against Yemen.
He is the younger brother of Omiya Ardija midfielder Daigo Watanabe.
