Ken Achs is well known a Canadian drag racer. He was inducted into the Canadian Motorsport Hall of Fame in 2003. As CEO of the Mid-West Group of Companies, the real estate magnate is listed in the Who's Who of Canadian business and named as a Canadian business leader and titan in Peter Newman's, book "Titans, The New Canadian Business Establishment". He is the son of a Hungarian immigrant and a self made "authentic' entrepreneur who enjoys mentoring young entrepreneurs. Achs and his corporation have won numerous awards for the buildings they develop. He married a lawyer, former model, and long time Canadian television personality, Colleen Wilson, who worked with him.[1]
