Keshdhari Hindus

Keshdhari Hindus means "Hindus with long hairs". It has been a controversial term used by Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh for Sikhs.^[1]

The Sikh leadership rejects the categorization of Sikhs as Keshdhari Hindus. The community asserts that Sikhism is a unique religion with a unique message.^[1]

On 23 July 2004, Rashtriya Sikh Sangat was declared as an Anti-Sikh outfit by highest authority of Khalsa Sikhs, Akal Takhat.^[2]^{[better source needed]}
