Key West High School is a Monroe County public school in Key West, Florida, USA. Key West High School is the largest high school in Monroe County, and was originally at the site of the current Glynn Archer Elementary School.It opened in 1906 and was used as a high school for white students.[citation needed] This school has various clubs including NJROTC, GSA (Gay Straight Alliance), Choir (Misty's, VIPS, Concert, and Freshman), Band (Marching, Concert, Jazz), National Honor Society, Beta Club, among others. This school has been the home of the Conchs since 1906.
The school served as a last resort shelter during Hurricane Irma in 2017.[1]
