The Klassik Stiftung Weimar (Weimar Classics Foundation; known from 2003 to 2006 as Stiftung Weimarer Klassik und Kunstsammlungen) is a German cultural foundation, formed on 1 January 2003 by merging the former Institute Stiftung Weimarer Klassik and the Kunstsammlungen zu Weimar. The Klassik Stiftung Weimar is a member of the Konferenz Nationaler Kultureinrichtungen, a union of more than twenty cultural institutions in the former East Germany.
