Kobi Peretz (Hebrew: קובי פרץ; born October 28, 1975), also known as Koby Perez, is an Israeli singer who sings in the Mizrahi style.

Biography

Pretz was born and raised in Tel Aviv, the youngest of 10 children. He is of Moroccan Jewish descent. After his one hit wonder Balbeli Oto (Confuse Him), he sang in major concerts. He is considered to be an Israeli Pop Idol to most.

He was sentenced to 18 months in prison for tax evasion on May 16, 2016.[1] He began his a prison term at Maasiyahu Prison on October 15, 2017.[2]
