Kokkireni is a village name originated from (Korkela+redu),Here redu means the Raju(Parvathi Ramalingeswara swamy) in Munagala Mandal, Suryapet district, Telangana,Pin:508233, India. The distance from Kokkireni to Munagala is 10Km. People in kokkireni are mainly depends on agriculture and main corps are paddy,redgram and cotten.However other corps also cultivated but in little.


The Kokkireni village can be reached by autos from Munagala. There are many good temples like Sri Parvathi Ramalingeswara temple,Kodanda Rama temple, Mutyalamma temple,Sridevi Bhudevi Sametha Venkateswara swamy temple etc. The Ramalingeswara temple has the ancient history since 1336.These temples constructed by Prathaparudra deva and modernized by Tekulapalli Ramachandra rao's Family members. Now these temples are organized by Tekulapalli Krishna devarayalu and Kokkireni village people.Sri Anjaneya swami temple is organized by Karamsetti Anjaiah and Family. Up to 1956 it is under Krishna district and Jaggayapet taluk but now it is under Suryapet (dt), Telangana. There is One Z.P high school and One Post office and STATE BANK OF INDIA offered a kiosk bank for avoiding moving nearby mandal to make bank transactions.
