The Koralm Tunnel is a railway tunnel that is under construction in Austria under the Koralpe mountain range. It will be 32.9 km long, lie up to 1,250 m below ground, and will be a part of the 130 km-long Koralm Railway which will link Graz with Klagenfurt. The Koralm tunnel will be composed of two tunnels running in parallel, each capable of carrying a single railway track, which will be linked together every 500 metres. There will be an emergency stop in the middle of the tunnel. It is expected to be operational by 2022.
