Richard Kraut is the Emeritus Charles and Emma Morrison Professor in the Humanities at Northwestern University and a specialist in ancient Greek philosophy.[1]

Education and career

Richard Kraut got his M.S. from the University of Michigan, and his Ph.D. from Princeton University in 1969 under the supervision of Gregory Vlastos. He joined the philosophy department at the University of Illinois, Chicago in 1969, and taught there until 1995, when he moved to Northwestern University.[2]
