Kuniko Tanioka

Kuniko Tanioka (谷岡 郁子, Tanioka Kuniko, born 1954) is a Japanese politician of the Democratic Party of Japan, a member of the House of Councillors in the Diet (national legislature). A native of Osaka Prefecture, she graduated from the University of Toronto in Ontario, Canada and received a Ph.D in design.[1] She was elected to the House of Councillors for the first time in 2007. She is president of Shigakkan University.[2]
