Kurdistan is the land of the Kurds. The Kurds are a nation of 40 million divided among 5 countries, including, Iraq, Iran, Syria, Turkey and Armenia. They have lived in their lands for thousands of years. In Turkey, the Turkish totalitarian regime continues to violate human rights, repress its Kurdish ethnic minority to an extent that even the Kurds do not reserve the most inherent and legitimate right of conversing in their own mother tongue language. The Turkish military has perpetrated myriad genocides, murders and ethnic-cleansings against the Kurds. The application of banned weapons of mass destruction and rape cases of Kurdish female members belonging to the opposition groups are widespread crimes, requiring international observation and condemnation. There are some 15-20 million Kurds in Turkey. In Iran, the Kurds are still suffering and envisaging state persecution, discrimination, imprisonment, deprivations and executions. The 10 million Kurds are the most underprivileged citizens in Iran. In Syria, the 2.5 million Kurds are still struggling for their national recognition.
