Kuwait English School (abbreviation:KES) is an independent and private school international school in Kuwait. The main campus of the school is located in Salwa. It provides a British curriculum education from Kindergarten to A levels. Entry into the school is through a comprehensive test. There are about 2500 students enrolled in the school with a faculty of about 420.[1] It was established in 1969 by Jassim Al Saddah, the school sponsor and the current KES Director alongside Rhoda Elizabeth Mahmoud

KES is divided into several departments: Infants, Juniors, Seniors, and the Green Unit, a department for children with special educational needs( called the green unit). Each of the departments has its own head. Searle is the infants principal, Reed is the juniors principal and Carew is the seniors principal.

The senior school is defined as years 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and the Sixth Form. The school principal is Jonh Carew, and vice-principals are John Lynskey and John Price.
