Kwame Bonsu (born 25 September 1994) is a Ghanaian footballer who plays for Gefle IF as a midfielder. He signed a 2.5 years contract with Gefle IF in July 2015 after leaving Mjällby AIF.[1] Bonsu played a total of 39 matches scoring two goals for Mjällby AIF[2] and played eight league matches and scored two goals for Rosengård both goals were scored on 7 September 2013 in a 2-1 win over Hässleholms IF.

The 09 June 2017 he was sentenced[3] to two years of prison for misconduct and rape against his Swedish wife. The Gävle District Court also decided to expel him from Sweden and he will pay damages of SEK 122,000 to his former wife.
