Kyle Louis Bosworth (born November 21, 1986) is a former American football linebacker and special teamer who played in the National Football League. He was signed by the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent in 2010.
Bosworth played linebacker at Plano West Senior High School in Texas. He was lettered in football as a linebacker for his High School coach Mike Hughes at Plano West Senior High School in Plano, Texas.[1] He was a First-team All-County selection in 2004.[1] He also was a Honorable mention All-State in 2003 and 2004.[1] He played college football at UCLA.
Early years
Bosworth attended Plano West Senior High School in Texas.[1] In 2004, he was named Co-Defensive Player of the Year following the season. He was picked to play in the 2005 Coca-Cola Bowl.[1] He finished high school with 231 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, three interceptions, six fumble recoveries and one sack.[1] He was a First-team All-District in the 2004 and 2003 seasons in high school.[1] He was a Co-Defensive Player of the Year in 2004.[1]
College career
Bosworth played college football at UCLA. He finished with 174 tackles and 2 sacks.
In his sophomore year, he had 77 tackles and 0.5 sack for the season. On September 1, 2007, he recorded 2 tackles against Stanford as UCLA won 45–17.[2]
In his Junior year, he had just 9 tackles for the season. On September 1, 2008, he recorded 5 tackles and a pass defended against No. 18 ranked Tennessee as UCLA won in overtime 27–24.[3]
In his senior year, he finished the year with 77 tackles and 1.5 sacks. On September 5, 2009, he recorded 4 tackles against San Diego State while UCLA went on to win the game 33–14.[4] On September 12, 2009, he recorded 10 tackles against Tennessee helping UCLA win that the game 19-15.[5] On September 19, 2009, he recorded 4 tackles against Kansas State as UCLA wins the game 23-9.[6] On October 3, 2009, he recorded 8 Tackles against Stanford as UCLA loss 24-16.[7] He was Defensive Co-winner of UCLA's Jerry Long "Heart" Award following the conclusion of the season.

Jacksonville Jaguars
Bosworth was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Jacksonville Jaguars after the 2010 NFL Draft. Bosworth spent his rookie season on injured reserve.
On November 15, 2011, he was placed on injured reserve because of a broken hand he suffered against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 9. He finished the season with 5 tackles in 9 games.[9]
In the Jaguars' 2012 season opener against the Minnesota Vikings, Bosworth started the game at linebacker in place of the injured Daryl Smith.[10]
New York Giants
On May 29, 2013, he signed with the New York Giants.[11]
Dallas Cowboys
The Dallas Cowboys replaced defensive lineman Sean Lissemore on their 53-man roster by claiming Bosworth off waivers, in order to help improve their special teams.[12] The Cowboys waived him on December 17, 2013.[13] He finished tied for second on the team in special teams tackles with 12, after playing in 14 games for the Dallas Cowboys.
Current Status
With no NFL team claiming him, Bosworth remains an unsigned free agent, in this 2016-2017 NFL season. He has returned to Jacksonville, Florida where he joined a real estate firm.
Personal life
He resides in Plano, Texas. He attended Plano West Senior High School in Plano, Texas. His twin brother, Korey, was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Denver Broncos, but was waived. He later signed with the Detroit Lions. He is also the nephew of former NFL linebacker, Brian Bosworth. He married The Real Housewives of Orange County star Kara Keough February 8, 2014.[14] He is currently a licensed real estate agent in both Texas and Florida, including being a cofounder of RedZone Realty Group with former Jacksonville Jaguars teammate Jason Babin.[15]
