Lahit Khurd is a village in the Akole taluka in the Ahmednagar district in Maharashtra State of India, situated on the Mula River. Lahit is in one of the backward districts Ahmednagar. It is about 40 miles from district town.The Village is inhabited mostly by farmers. These men are models of industry. In this village, have one school of sane guruji Shikshan Prasarak Mandali, Nashik Road sanchalit, as well as this village, also inside of Harishchandragad fort. Here lives Maratha community. This area also belongs to Maratha Empire,Also Temple Of 'Sangameshwar ' Situated On Mula River. In this village the surname of people are Gawade, Godase, Jadhav, Mindhe, Kotkar, Kadale, Madhe, Shinde etc. The population of Lahit is approximately 2000.
