Laura Morera is a Spanish ballerina who is currently a principal dancer with the Royal Ballet, London.

Early life

Laura Morera was born in Madrid.[1]

She joined the Royal Ballet School aged 11.[1]

Career

She graduated from the Royal Ballet School in 1995 and joined the Royal Ballet. She was promoted to Principal in 2007.[1]

Personal life

Morera is married to the former Royal Ballet dancer Justin Meissner.[1]

Awards

  • 2016 — Critics' Circle National Dance Award : Outstanding female performance, classical (Lise, La Fille mal gardée, The Royal Ballet).
