Law of Property Acts
The Law of Property Acts or the 1925 land reforms commonly refers to a series of Acts of Parliament passed in the United Kingdom to reform the system of land holding, registration and transfer. The principal Acts are,
- Law of Property Act 1925
- Land Registration Act 1925 (though this has been replaced mostly by the Land Registration Act 2002
- Settled Land Act 1925 reformed by TLATA 1996
- Trustee Act 1925 reformed by TLATA 1996
- Land Charges Act 1925 (referring chiefly local authority schemes and notifications (local land charges), to bankruptcy and to means of imposing encumbrances on unregistered land)
