Leendert Saarloos

Leendert Saarloos (16 November 1884, Dordrecht – 13 January 1969, Dordrecht) was a Dutch dog breeder.[1]

He became known for his breed of dog, the Saarloos wolfdog. In 1932 he began crossing German Shepherds with wolves.
